EU Managers Training Program (MTP)

The Managers’ Training Programme (MTP) – program in the framework of the EU TACIS provided for managers and specialists from Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia and Uzbekistan and aimed to promote the economic development of CIS countries by means of supporting managers' trainings.
Managers of Azerbaijani companies are participants of MTP Programme, which experience and knowledge will play a great role in future expanding the activity sphere of their companies, in establishing business relations with European companies.
The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers') Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (ASK) is the local representative of EU MTP Programme. 82 managers from Azerbaijan participated in the Programme, among them 38 were participants of MTP I, 33 - participants of MTP III, 11 – participants of MTP IV.
New phase of MTP program started on 29 March 2006 according to the subcontract signed between ASK and German company Carl Duisberg Centren GmbH (CDC). During 2006-2008 years in totally 35 managers from Azerbaijan will improve their experience in European companies in the framework of MTP IV program. 11 managers participated in 4-, 8- and 12-week programs. Managers represent such sectors as consulting, water production, marketing researches, gas and automobile industry, shipping repair, construction, bank, insurance.
Process of participation of 24 selected managers is continued. 7 managers from leasing, consulting, IT, hotel industry will visit Spanish companies in July-September, 2007.
MTP IV program will finished on 19 April, 2008.
