Country Program on Decent Work for 2006-2009

Country Program on Decent Work for Azerbaijan Republic in the framework of cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO) was signed in Geneva in November 15, 2006. This program was signed by minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan Republic Fizuli Alakbarov, president of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation MP Sattar Mehbaliyev and president of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers‘) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic Alakbar Mammadov.

Program embracing 2006-2009 years was elaborated and prepared by ILO and social partners cooperating on basis of tripartite principle in Azerbaijan Republic considering an importance of decent work from the point of view of achievement of Millenium development objects at national level and ensuring of sustainable development.

Program consists of introduction and 5 parts.
